Aromatic, fresh Primitivo

Produced by Fasoli Gino’s modern project; TASI Wines who passionately craft authentic, genuine and terroir driven wines, from natural viticulture. Dating back to 1925 and now led by 4th generation of winemakers, the Fasoli Gino estate is a highly respected Veneto winery – and historic partner for Adnams. In contrast, TASI is a young, up and coming winery, who – supported by their experienced forefathers (who still run the Fasoli Gino estate) – have transformed what was once a quarry, into a beautiful organic vineyard overlooking the entire valley. TASI is a modern slang word from the Veneto area (from Italian ‘taci’ the verb being ‘tacére, to literally shut up). Why? Well sometimes, it is best to let a wine speak for itself. This wine also looks the part; with label artwork from Eric Junker. Drink this wine with pizza, or take to a BBQ – a perfect match!

Description

Organic Primitivo is hand-harvested from vines aging from 35-60 years old, spread across the picturesque hills of Puglia. The warmth of the region creates an intensely aromatic wine and smooth wine. Unfined and unfiltered.

How does it taste

Ripe, dark cherry and blackcurrant flavours are balanced by the soft whisper of liquorice and black pepper spices.
