Southwold Bitter is authentic and full of character, just like its namesake – our hometown on the Suffolk coast. Broadside delivers a cannon of bold fruitcake flavours and a taste that’s endured for nearly 50 years. First launched in 1972 to mark the tercentenary of the Battle of Sole Bay, this dark ruby red beer has become a showcase for East Anglian malt, First Gold hops and the unique, fruity characteristics of Adnams house yeast.

Named after the water spirit of legend that protects sailors on the North Sea, Kobold is a premium English lager with a refreshing taste and sustainability mission to match. Inspired by its namesake, sales of Kobold support marine conservation projects through a partnership with the Blue Marine Foundation. Together, we can help protect our seas, coastlines, and planet for everyone to enjoy.

Dry Hopped Lager

We’ve brewed with pale malts and used peachy Australian Galaxy hops to add a fruity twist to our delicious lager. It is then lagered, or cold conditioned, to give a full, well-rounded flavour and that dry, refreshing bite. Galaxy hops are descended from the excellent German allrounder, Perle, and are known for their amazing peach, and passionfruit aromas, especially when used as a late addition.

Ease Up is a sessionable IPA with cheek-puckering grapefruit flavours and fresh, fruity, resinous notes thanks to a stellar cast of bright, aromatic hops. Ease Up’s recipe is built around the hops, which come from both England and American. It has a lower abv than a full-strength US style IPA but is still big on flavour.

Stout | 4.2%

Blackshore Stout

Blackshore is a smooth, easy-drinking stout, named after the black-tarred fishing huts that line Southwold's harbour. They are individual, characterful and made of sturdy stuff. It is brewed with a hefty mash bill for a rich, broad malt character. You’ll find Pale Ale, Brown, Double Roasted Crystal, and Chocolate malts, alongside Roasted Barley and a hearty helping of oats. This adds a real depth of flavour, that the brewing team are particularly proud of, making it tremendously tasty, but mellow on the finish.

Cider | 5%

Wild Wave English Cider

Fermented with champagne and wine yeasts, Wild Wave is a bright, sparkling cider at 5% abv with flavours and aromas of fresh apples, mango and tropical fruit, elegantly balanced with a medium-dry-finish. Serve at North Sea temperatures.

All our spirits are based on locally grown, East Anglian malted cereals, with which we create our distillery wash. It is the cornerstone of the individuality and character of Adnams spirits.

Single Malt Gin| 40%

Copper House Dry Gin

Our best-selling gin is made from grain to glass in Southwold using the finest East Anglian malted barley and just six carefully selected botanicals. Nothing else is added, apart from our passion for the craft. In our brewery, we create a wash of 100% malted barley, which is distilled to a vodka of exceptional purity. Our barley vodka base is essentially the botanical we don’t talk about.

Copper House Pink Gin

Adnams Copper House Pink Gin is made from grain to glass using a distillery wash of 100% East Anglian malted barley. This wash is distilled to a vodka with exceptional purity at 96% abv. We then redistil this vodka with six botanicals incluiding juniper berries, orris root, coriander seeds, cardamom pods, sweet orange peel and hibiscus flower to create our award-winning Copper House Dry Gin. We combine this with a splash of raspberry, which adds vibrant fruity flavours and aromas, while still maintaining the character of a true gin. It's a fun, pink twist on our best-selling gin.

Copper House Blackcurrant Gin

We’ve distilled lashings of lovely, glossy blackcurrants with a selection of familiar London Dry botanicals and a large helping of juniper berries, to create this fruit-forward gin. Bittersweet blackcurrants and citrus juniper deliver a delicious duet on the palate, while sweet, warm, woody flavours come through on the finish thanks to the addition of star anise, liquorice root, and the cinnamon-like notes in cassia bark.

Triple Malt Gin | 45%

First Rate Gin

We redistill our trophy-winning triple grain vodka, Longshore, with a complex and powerful blend of 13 botanicals. Our Head Distiller, John McCarthy, spent several months refining a recipe that would complement our smooth, finest-cut spirit. Aromatic herbs and spices mingle with the tart fruit of juniper and fresh hints of citrus peel. It is big and bold, and truly a gin to savour. You will discover something different with every sip.

Jardin Mexicano Gin

Jardín Mexicano Gin is a complex, jumiper-laden 10-botanical bonanza, inspired by Mexican food and cookery. Avocado leaves add subtle notes of anise and liquorice, which is bolstered by layers of warming, woody spice from angelica root, cassia bark and punchy epazote. The use of lime peel, Mexican oregano and coriander adds an underlying citrus freshness to this invigorating gin. It is a real, what grows together, goes together recipe.

Quince Gin

This limited edition, seasonal offering was inspired by a fruiting Quince tree growing near our Copper House distillery. It’s tangy, tart flavours sit somewhere between an apple and pear, and it produces delicate aromas of tropical fruit. With soft hints of cardamom and sweet orange peel and light florals, it is an uplifting, fresh and fruity gin.

East Coast Vodka

Adnams East Coast Single Malt Vodka is made with 100% East Anglian malted barley. It is crisp and pure with a smooth, soft finish. It’s lingering malty sweetness evokes hints butterscotch and toffee.

Triple Malt Vodka | 45%

Longshore Vodka

Adnams from grain to glass, our Triple Malt Longshore Vodka is distilled from East Anglian malted barley, wheat and oats. This is an exceptionally pure, handcrafted vodka which has been declared the'World's Best' by the IWSC twice. It is smooth, creamy, and rich with gentle notes of toffee.

Single Malt Whisky

Our Single Malt Whisky is made from East Anglian malted barley. Small-batch and copper pot stilled; our whisky is matured in new French oak barrels for at least five years before being bottled. This smooth, rich whisky has bold flavours of runny honey, vanilla and apricots. There’s a moreish, caramel finish with lush, lingering fruit.

Triple Malt Whisky

Adnams Triple Malt Whisky is made with wheat, barley, and oats. The wheat creates extra smoothness and the oats, creaminess. Ageing in new American oak barrels for five years has created bold, strong flavours of coconut and chocolate. The nose is complex with notes of spice, coconut and toasted oak, citrus fruit and sweet honey. The palate takes you through sumptuous chocolate and exploding spices, before a long, satisfying finish.

Rye Malt Whisky

Made from a mash bill of 25% East Anglian malted barley and 75% rye, Adnams Rye Malt Whisky has been matured in new French oak for at least five year's. Winner of the World Whiskies Awards, Best English Rye 2021, it has lovely aromas of warm vanilla, raisin fudge and black peppercorns with a smooth, rich, and spicy palate. Delicious on its own, or in any classic whisky cocktail.

Spirit of Broadside

Born of beer and aged in oak, Spirit of Broadside is an eau-de-vie-de-biere and quite a rarity. As well as being a moreish, after-dinner digestif, Spirit of Broadside is also a bit of a talking point. An intriguing alternative for the whisky connoisseur or inevitable eyebrow-raiser for the intrepid beer fan. Broadside beer is sent through our distillery and the resulting spirit is matured in oak barrels.
