Get into the spirit of Southwold, exploring the Adnams Copper House Distillery on our five-star-rated Distillery Tour. Your guide will make the science simple, showing you first-hand how we produce vodka from barley and other grains and then re-distil it with botanicals to create our award-winning gins. You’ll also enjoy stunning views of Southwold from the panoramic distillery windows – cameras at the ready! You’ll then head to the tasting bar for some tutored spirit sampling, including five Adnams gins and our world-beating Longshore vodka.
The tour and tasting session last around 90 minutes, after which you’ll probably want to head to our Southwold store to claim your free memento and take advantage of your 10% discount voucher!

The Distillery Tours depart from the Adnams Tours Centre, located in The Swan Courtyard, on Market Place, Southwold IP18 6EG – accessed through the archway adjacent to The Swan entrance.
This experience is suitable for those aged 18 or over.
Adnams Distillery Tours are unsuitable for visitors in a wheelchair and are a challenge for those with reduced mobility. Our Distillery is located on the top floor of our old brewery building and the tour route involves lots of walking, steep staircases and standing for extended periods of time.
Adnams Tours are subject to a minimum attendance policy. Should this affect your booking, we will contact you directly and will always endeavour to move you to an alternative and viable tour where possible.
We do not usually distil at weekends. If you wish to see the distillery during operational hours, we recommend a visit during the week. Weekend tours are still great fun, but the distillery is likely to be quieter.
A soft drink or low-alcohol option is available for those not drinking on the day. Please contact us if you have any specific dietary requirements you wish to discuss.
Extend your experience and choose a Brewer's Board to enjoy after your tour:
Familiarise yourself with new flavours, socialise with your group, and embrace the joys of pairing beer with great food. Following the Distillery Tour, guests who have pre-booked a Brewer's Board can head to The Swan's Tap Room bar, where they can choose three draft beers to enjoy alongside a vegetarian or charcuterie board. The Tap Room offers a broad range of cask and keg beers.

- Vegetarian Brewer's Board: A hand-picked selection of cheeses, sourdough bread, hummus, olives, and roasted red peppers or
- Brewer's Board: A special selection of charcuterie, including cured meats and locally sourced bread.
We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to provide the combined option of a Tour & Brewer's Board.

Useful information before attending your tour and please share with your party:
All visitors entering our site must wear fully enclosed shoes that cover both toes and heels; flip-flops and sandals are not allowed. Please avoid high or pointed heels, as there are slatted metal staircases to negotiate.
All visitors are supplied with a high visibility vest to wear for the duration of their tour.
The distillery can get quite warm so please bring a refillable water bottle.
