This winery is situated in the Weinviertel area of Austria northwest of Vienna, close to the border with the Czech Republic. The family has been growing vines in the area since the 17th century, with the family’s motto of ‘wine is fruit in a bottle’. Named Austrian Winery of the Year at the 2017 New York International Wine Competition, and joined recently by next generation of the family, Katherina, after finishing her studies at the famous Klosterneuberg College in Vienna. She brings new and innovative ideas with her. This is a forward-looking family business that combines volume with excellent quality.
