Adnams Yuletide

Adnams Yuletide

Yuletide is a beer for the ebb and flow of the festive season. One that's synonymous with Christmas and its moments of lively celebration or quiet contemplation in front of a roaring fire. First brewed in 2007, and enjoyed for a number of years, it came back with tidings of joy in 2024. It was reinvented by our head brewer, Dan, who was inspired by his own excitement to try Anchor's ‘Our Special Ale’ (or Anchor Christmas Ale). He has bolstered Yuletide’s original recipe with his own secret blend of seasonal spices, which he tinkers with to create a unique vintage. It's a brew you’ll look forward to reacquainting yourself with each year.

Description

Enjoy Yuletide when Christmas rolls in. Our wonderful winter warmer is full of festive cheer, with flavours of chocolate and coffee, a refreshing orangey pithiness and a seasonally spicy finish, thanks to its secret seasonal spices, selected each year by our head brewer, Dan.

How does it taste

Yuletide has been brewed with a huge bill of East Anglian malts including Pale Ale, Munich, Chocolate, Extra-Dark Crystal, Amber, Double-Roasted Crystal, as well as Red Rye Pale Ale. It has rich coffee and chocolate notes as a result. It is hopped with Strata and Ella, plus a selection of secret seasonal spices. On the palate it’s subtly spiced with notes of orange, pine and light florals.
