Forest fruits and peppery spice
It was the de Fieuzal family, who owned the estate until 1851, that gave its name to the vineyard. At that time, it included Château de Fieuzal and Haut-Gardère, which was purchased in 1995 by the former owners, thereby reconstituting the original vineyard. Since 2001, Brenda and Lochlann Quinn have been the new owners. Working alongside winemaker Stephen Carrier and consultant Hubert de Bouärd, owner of Château Angélus, they have created a modern expression of Bordeaux. Following organic principles, their goal is to continue the technical improvements in winemaking and vine growing, while retaining the essence of the wine of Graves.
