The grape variety Nero d’Avola is indigenous to Sicily, but such is its success in warmer climates that it has spread beyond the island to mainland Italy and further afield -notably South Australia and California. Our Sicilian example is rich in red and black fruit flavours with gentle tannins. It’s perfect paired with grilled meats and herbed vegetables.

I have had Nero d'Avola before & it was lovely, I have tried two bottles out of 6 & they are very acidic. I wouldn't buy again.
