Catered When completing a Tours and Experiences booking with Adnams PLC, you agree to the following:
- Participants must be aged 18 or over. Children and babies (whether carried in arms/sling or pushchair) are not allowed to participate in our experiences for health and safety reasons.
- Participants agree to wear fully enclosed shoes that cover both toes and heels; no flip-flops or sandals are allowed. Please avoid high or pointed heels, as there are slatted metal staircases to negotiate.
- Participants agree to wear the hi-vis vest we supply and to remain within the designated walkways under the direct supervision of the tour guide for the duration of the visit.
- Please be aware that Adnams tours and experiences in Southwold can be a challenge for visitors with restricted mobility. You are visiting a working brewery or distillery, and as such, there is no seating along the routes and steep staircases on all tours. Visitors can expect to be walking and standing for up to an hour.
- Tours of the distillery, brewery, and Southwold-based 'Make Your Own Gin' sessions are inaccessible to guests in wheelchairs.
- Guests with restricted mobility who wish to partake in a 'Make Your Own Gin' experience may do so at our Norwich Unthank Road store. Please call us for advice or if you have any questions on this subject.
- Prices quoted are per guest and inclusive of VAT.
- There is no car park at the Tours Centre, and car parking at The Swan and The Crown is reserved for hotel residents only.
Changes to your booking:
- Once a booking is made, customers have a seven-day cancellation period within which they can cancel the booking and receive a full refund, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given before the tour or experience is due to start.
- After this initial seven-day cancellation period, guests looking to amend their booking can transfer to a new date and time, provided at least 24 hours’ notice is given before their original tour or experience is due to start.
- Guests booking on the day of their experience waive their right to cancellation.
- Adnams Tours have a minimum attendance policy, as follows:
- Brewery and Gin Tours – four participants
- Whisky Experience, Cocktail Masterclass & Make Your Own Gin – two participants
- If your tour cannot run because the minimum attendance is not reached, we will endeavour to move you to an alternative, viable tour, and failing that, will refund you in full. We will contact you by telephone and email, giving you as much notice as possible.
- Adnams Tours and Experiences has the right to change the format of experiences or to cancel bookings due to circumstances beyond our control. We will always endeavour to keep the tours and experiences as true to type as possible.
- If Adnams cancels a tour for any reason, we will endeavour to move your booking to an alternative, agreed time. Failing that, we will refund the booking in full. Adnams shall have no further liability to you concerning the cancelled tour.
