1                How to participate

1.1          In order to enter this free prize draw promotion, scan the QR code displayed on promotional A‑boards located within the Adnams Beach Eats area at either the Suffolk Show or the Royal Norfolk Show.

1.2          The QR code will take you to an online entry form for you to complete.

1.3          You must include your full name and email address on the online entry form. If you share an email address with another person, that person must use a different email address to enter the competition themselves.

1.4          On the online entry form, you will be asked whether you wish to receive marketing communications from the promoter. Selecting “yes” is optional and is not a condition of entry into this promotion.

1.5          You may enter the competition once per person.

1.6          Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

1.7          No payment is necessary to enter this promotion.

1.8          By submitting your online form, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

2                Start date

This promotion will start at 6:00am on 27 May 2026.

3                Closing date

3.1          The closing date for entry into this promotion will be 26 June at 11:59pm.

3.2          Entries received by the promoter after the closing date will be void and will not be entered into this promotion.

4                Selection of the winner

4.1          One prize winner will be selected.

4.2          The winner of the prize draw will be selected at random via a random number generator from all entries correctly submitted in accordance with these terms and conditions.

4.3          Only one prize will be awarded.

5                Prize

5.1          The prize consists of a Ghost Ship and Fish & Chips meal for six people at The Harbour Inn, Southwold, awarded in the form of an Adnams voucher to the value of £150.

5.2          The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable and no cash alternative will be offered.

5.3          The prize does not include any additional costs or expenses beyond the value of the voucher.

5.4          If necessary due to circumstances beyond our control, we may (at our option) substitute the prize for a reasonable equivalent of equal or higher value.

 

6                Restrictions and requirements

6.1          To enter this promotion, you must be a resident of the UK and be aged 18 or over at the time of entry. 

6.2          Employees of Adnams plc and their immediate families are ineligible to enter this promotion.

6.3          We may ask for proof of age, residence or eligibility.  Delay or failure to provide the evidence to our reasonable satisfaction may result in an entry being void or a prize being forfeited.

7                Notification of the results and receipt of the prize

7.1          The winner will be notified by email using the email address provided on entry on or before 12 July 2026.

7.2          If the selected winner does not respond to the notification within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited and the promoter will select an alternative winner from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the process described above (and that winner will also have 7 days to respond to their notification).

7.3          The Adnams voucher will be dispatched to the winner within 14 days of the winner confirming acceptance of the prize.

8                Publicity and personal information

8.1          Please note that your personal information will be used to process your entry, to contact you about your entry, and for the purpose outlined in paragraph 8.2 below. 8.2          The surname and county of the winners can be obtained by emailing competitions@adnams.co.uk within three months of the closing date.

8.3          If you do not want your surname and county included on the list of winners referred to above, please email competitions@adnams.co.uk prior to the closing date of the promotion. Please note that we may disclose this information to the Advertising Standards Authority if requested.

8.4          You may be asked to participate in publicity relating to this promotion if you are selected as a winner.

9.4          While nothing in these terms and conditions will limit or exclude the promoter’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraud, the promoter will not be legally responsible to entrants or winners for any losses that were not foreseeable to the promoter or to the entrant at the time of entry to the promotion or which are caused by a third party.

9.5          The laws of England and Wales apply to these terms and conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.

9.6          Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. This means that you can choose whether to bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of another part of the UK in which you live.
