Gargalo is the family project that renowned Spanish fashion designer, Roberto Verino, founded in 1998 in the Monterrei appellation of Northwestern Spain, with the goal of making wines that would speak about their terroir of origin. Verino, along with Bodegas Riojanas utilising their winemaking experience gathered since its foundation in 1890, share the same values of utmost respect for terroir as a core element that defines their wines.
