Located in central Italy along the Tyrrhenian coast, the wines of Tuscany are heavily influenced by the maritime climate, with harsh winters and hot summers. Appellations of this region present a wide variation of microclimates and soil types. The famous wines of Chianti are made with the red grape variety Sangiovese. Typically, these wines offer light-coloured, well-structured tannin, refreshing acidity and a medium to full body rich in cherry fruits with herbaceous undertones. The bottle of wine itself is top rate good quality wine and beautifully bottled. Ordering simple and efficient online and the bottle arrived very quickly very well packaged. Excellent service all round !!

Good quaffing wine

A cheeky little number that sc ampers across the palate, this light wine goes well with most foods without overwhelming them. It isn't too strong in alcohol or body so sits happily on the tummy. Recommended for what I wanted it for, replacing beer in a slimming diet without giving me a headache.
