Description

The 1998 was the very first vintage of 100% Tempranillo grapes from the Monte Royal vineyards around Cenicero. Hand-picked grapes that were aged in American Oak barrels for a minimum 24-30 months, followed by 36 months in bottle prior to release. Intense ruby red, with dark orange-brown hues, thanks to its excellent ageing. Powerful aromas on the nose. This superb wine is full of cherry and liquorice, chocolate, oak and vanilla. Harmonious, elegant and velvety, with excellent acidity and long-lingering finish. Enjoy with beef, lamb or with chocolate desserts.

How does it taste
