The grape variety Nero dAvola is indigenous to Sicily, but such is its success in warmer climates that it has spread beyond the island to mainland Italy and further afield -notably South Australia and California. Our Sicilian example is rich in red and black fruit flavours with gentle tannins. Its perfect paired with grilled meats and herbed vegetables.

Joyful, easy and plummy red that's spot on for your kitchen this week. Adnams have their finger on the pulse of European wine right now, and this rocking red is just a taste of the unique bottles they're delivering.
Description
Ruby red in colour with bold fruit flavours of blackberries, blueberries & mulberries with a hint of spice.

FRUITY & SMOOTH
We (ie my wife & I) already know this grape well and, I think, bought it online from Adnams early in the pandemic, when we weren't minded to enter supermarkets etc, and again more recently. For digestive reasons, Alison rarely drinks white wine (unless sparkling) in the evening, o we try to keep some light fruity and smooth red in the wine rack. This has become one of he favourites, and I enjoy it too.
