Dating back to 1615, Quinta do Crasto is one of the most spectacularly situated properties in the Douro, and among the first to break out on its own. Owned and run by the Roquette family, Crasto has quickly established a worldwide reputation for the quality of both its Port and its red wines. Marrying tradition with the state-of-the-art technologies, Quinta do Crasto still uses the foot-treading method in old granite Lagares.

Description

Quinta do Crasto 10 Year Old is an aged tawny Port that has been matured in Portuguese oak vats for an average of 10 years. Made from selected Port wines from our best vineyards, this blend offers great complexity given by the older wines, with the younger wines bringing fresh fruit flavours and lively acidity.

How does it taste

The wine is amber in colour and offers excellent aroma complexity, with notes of honey, figs and fine spices. On the palate it is fresh and perfectly balanced, with a delicate, elegant and persistent finish.
