A delightful dry Riesling from a renowned German producer

A delightful dry Riesling from a renowned German producer

The first official mention of the Dönnhoff name dates back to 1761, having been established by Hermann Dönnhoff. Right from the outset Hermann focused his attention on planting Riesling vines in prized vineyards, and by the 1920s was filling his wines into bottles and selling the finest of them by their individual vineyard names. Today, it is managed by the fourth generation, Cornelius Dönnhoff, who took over the running of vineyards in 2007, followed by all estate operations. The Dönnhoff vineyards span 25 hectares planted on a range of soils from classic slate and loam to weathered red sandstone. The hallmark of the estate is the pursuit of vibrancy and purity in all wines.
