Geografico was founded in 1961 by 17 winemakers who understood the importance of a finished wine and its terroir. Half a century later, Geografico has grown to a cooperative with over 60 winemakers based in the Chianti, Chianti Classico and Vernaccia di San Gimignano regions. The cooperative embodies a sustainable focus, choosing to run their headquarters on 100% electric fuel, and have achieved Equalitas, a certifiable voluntary standard based on the sustainability of wine.
