In an appellation where many growers have vines over 100 years old, Domaine Roger Perrin is a relatively young estate - founded in 1969. However, the vineyards were in existence long before the beginning of the 20th Century. Being passed through generation, today the domaine is run by Xavier Rolin, who has been in charge since 2022, who has 15 hectares of organic vines in the Chateauneuf du Pape appellation. The terroir ranges from stone and gravel to sand and limestone soils, with the average of vines being more than 60 years of age, with some vines being more than 100 years old. Luc Perrin says 'My Châteauneuf can be served with different dishes, but you might try it with an exotic and spicy dish (chicken curry) or in a less traditional way, with a monkfish stew.'
