Tobelos is an independent family winery at the heart of Rioja Alta, located in Briñas – a small village in the heart of Rioja Alta. Focused on the production and ageing of high-quality wines, with a small annual production of 200,000 bottles. Wines are crafted from small plots of 40 to 100 years old bush vines located at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria Mountain and higher course of the Ebro River where clay, calcareous soils on terraces shape the personality of Tobelos' wines. Bodegas Tobelos' philosophy and work are based on Respect: respect for present, nature, landscape, understanding vineyards and taking care of them with a traditional and respectful viticulture. Respect for future; building a wine heritage with its own recognisable identity that is inserted in the diversity of Rioja. Tobelos brings together all the ingredients necessary for creating wines of extremely high quality and classified origin.

Well covered cherry red with ruby rims. Intense on the nose, with aromas of red and black fruit accompanied by spicy notes, cinnamon, cocoa, bushes and scrub. Velvety softness with great depth of ripe, red berry fruits, balanced acidity, tasty tannins, outstanding nobility, great structure, with a harmonic development climaxing in an elegant, persistent aftertaste. Friendly tannins, integrated acidity and long persistence. Very round, fresh and fruity. ''A wine you want to keep on drinking''.
