Rich, dark fruit flavours

Rich, dark fruit flavours

The Barossa region needs little introduction. It’s widely recognised as the most prestigious wine region in Australia and well-known across the globe for its powerful yet elegant wines. The Barossa Wine Company (BVWC) was established in 2001, with the sole purpose of hand-crafting the very best expressions of the Barossa Valley. Despite being a relative newcomer to the region, the company’s heritage is deeply rooted in what makes the Barossa unique. This is seen in their old vines, varied soils, vineyard aspect and microclimates across the vineyard.
Rich, dark fruit flavours

Description

Rich aromas of blackberry, and plum, with underlying notes of white pepper, cedar and Christmas cake spice. The palate is rich and concentrated with elegant dark fruit flavours. The spice carries through to the palate, backed by intensely powerful tannins and integrated oak characters.

How does it taste

Dark fruits are complemented by white pepper and cedar. Rich and concentrated with powerful, well-integrated tannins. Excellent with beef or lamb dishes. Will age well over the next 10 years.
