Lime and passionfruit aromas

Lime and passionfruit aromas

The family-run Forrest estate holds values akin to our own. Sustainability is at their heart of what they do and helps reduce their impact on their stunning local environment. This, and their ability to consistently craft amazing wines, has been key to our longstanding partnership. John Forrest has worked tirelessly to master the art of naturally removing alcohol from wine, but have it undetectable to the drinker, in terms of flavour and body. He has perfected the technique of slowing the vine’s capacity to make sugar, but not its ability to make flavour. It’s all done naturally in the vineyard, with careful leaf canopy management. There’s no chemistry or trickery, just innovative, sustainable viticulture.

Description

This full-flavoured Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a stand-out option for those seeking wines that are naturally produced with less alcohol. With its classic gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours and that crisp, refreshing Marlborough finish, it forms part of The Adnams Regions Range, which brings you characterful wines that display the signature style of renowned wine areas.

How does it taste

This is a perfect New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, with lime and passionfruit on the nose, bold gooseberry and tropical fruit flavours and perky acidity. It's lower in alcohol too. Smoked salmon, soft cheeses, and creamy dishes would make a great pairing.

Light and Refreshing

At our BBQ the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was perfect as a light, easily drinkable and refreshing white wine. It’s a clean taste. aromatic but not overblown. A perfect wine to share with family and friends.

Marborough Sauvignon Blanc

This is a gift to my daughter Sarah. I purely only submitted the order, but living in New Zealand, and knowing the World wide popularity of Marborough Sauvignon Blancs, I'm quite sure the wine will be up to its usual elite standard. The province of Marborough in New Zealand grows the majority of that variety of grape and has a distictively delicious flavour. Trouble is you can't stop drinking it.
