Historic estate in the Bordeaux region that has evolved since its creation in 1802, Château Haut-Meyreau currently covers over 90 hectares of vineyards located in Entre-Deux-Mers. Understanding the soils and the messages they convey to us are key principles for our team of winemakers. This commitment has led us to steer our practices towards sustainable viticulture, certified for High Environmental Value. The region experienced very hot and dry end of the vintage and therefor early harvests are essential to preserve the 'juiciness' of the Cabernet Franc.

Bright fruit and elegant character Aged for approximately 12 months in concrete tanks, this wine preserves its purity, freshness, and authentic expression of the fruit. Enjoy this wine young and for the best expression, decant for around 1 hour before serving.

How does it taste

Ripe cherries on the palate with a balanced and smooth finish. An excellent match for slow-braised beef in a rich red wine sauce, grilled lamb, or hearty mushroom dishes.
