Shore Thing Refreshment

Shore Thing Refreshment

Beyond the reach of the waves, Southwold’s beach opens out, and the sun beats down on the dunes. It's bright and dry, just like our lager. We wanted to give it the appearance of a beer everyone was familiar with, but with the added twist of more fruit-driven hops. We did several trials on our pilot brew kit to try to get the balance just right, before settling on the final recipe. We’ve brewed with pale malts and used peachy Australian Galaxy hops to add a fruity twist. It is then lagered, or cold conditioned, to give a full, well-rounded flavour and that dry, refreshing bite. Galaxy hops are descended from the excellent German allrounder, Perle, and are known for their amazing peach, and passionfruit aromas, especially when used as a late addition.

Excellent drink very poor delivery

The Drink itself is excellent, but I had home delivery and the package was delivered to one my neighbours 8 doors away . To make it worse it was raining and I had to knock on all my neighbours doors to ask if they had a delivery on a Sunday afternoon. They just opened neighbours back gate and left it on their lawn and did not knock on their door to inform them of delivery.
Delivery company not impressed with to say the least.

Brilliant!

Too Bitter

Not well-balanced, over-hopped, the excessive bitterness conceals any pale malt flavour. It's more like an American so-called IPA than a pilsner-style lager. But perhaps that's what you intended.

Disgusting, one mouthful was one mouthful too many.
