With its long history of viticulture, Bodegas Bagordi – situated just outside Andosilla – has been producing wine since the 18th Century. Organically certified since 1997, vines are planted on poor, free-draining soils on the banks of the Ega and Ebro rivers. Wines are proudly produced with low-intervention techniques, and are fresh, vibrant and complex.

Description

A 50/50 blend of organic Sauvignon Blanc and White Grenache, harvested at night to preserve the freshness and pure fruit characteristics. The Sauvignon Blanc delivers the acidity and tropical notes, while the Grenache imparts volume and complexity. A short period of ageing on the lees gives a fine roundness to the finish. The crisp floral and ripe characteristics of the Bagordi Rioja Blanco make this an excellent partner to oysters, goats cheese and tapas.

How does it taste

Intense, with ripe aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. Balanced acidity and freshness make this a fantastically food-friendly wine.
