Skill and love of the vine

Skill and love of the vine

The Talmard family have firmly established themselves within Burgundy’s vineyards, with their family history reaching as far back as the 17th century. Today, daughter Mallory and son-in-law Benjamin mange the estate, having taken over from Paul Talmard in 1997, along with son Marco. The estate has more than doubled in size, from 16 to 40 hectares, but quality remains at the forefront. Paul’s philosophy was ‘skill and love of the vine’, a phase that is often heard around the estate today. A hugely important partner for Adnams, the Talmard family has for many years been producing our best-selling white wine, Adnams White Burgundy.
