Deep Ink garnet-red with purple tints. Complex and rich nose with rosemary, blackcurrant, black cherries and garrigue. Full and smooth attack, balanced and unctuous. Food match: Grilled or roasted red meats, Duck breast, sarladaise potatoes, Black Pork roast, Veal with porcini mushrooms. Celliers Jean d'Alibert is located in the Rieux-Minervois area, at the foot of the Black Mountain. A great diversity of soils and climates can be found throughout the shareholding wineries, as well as many different grape varieties and varying methods of production. The result of such diversity is the ability to produce many different wines that are always authentic and generous. 6 shareholding wineries represent 6000 ha of vineyard and 350 000 hl of wine, all produced by 1000 winegrowers and 50 employees. The Group is an important economic and social role in the development of the Minervois region as a whole.

What a surprise

Husband and I are enjoying trying wines that are new to us, but this one was a complete surprise, fruity delicious and very very moreish.

Rich Fruity Red

Spicey Minervois with bags of rich fruit. A little “rustic” at first but smooths out nicely in the glass.
