Description

At Adnams we like to celebrate and as Prosecco is the perfect fizz for any occasion we have sourced a truly great example to put our name to. Our chosen Prosecco comes from the Veneto region of Italy, in the heart of the Prosecco region. Made from the Glera grape it has the aromas of ripe apples and fresh, bright flavours of pears and white peaches and a vivifying sparkle. The perfect apéritif and the essential ingredient in a Bellini cocktail.

How does it taste

Fine bright perlage, light rosé colour. Delicate and complex bouquet with fruity notes that remind of peach, green apple and lemon. Floral notes of acacia and rose. Fresh and light on the palate, with balanced acidity and body; round and full-bodied structure. Enjoy rosé bubbles as an aperitif but excellent with fish soups, grilled fish and courses based on mushrooms. Fresh with crisp, ripe pear flavours. A joyous glassful of fizz.

Excellent Product but a major problem with the delivery (Yodel).

We have bought the Prosecco Rosé before and were looking forward to another case. We were contacted by Yodel late on the scheduled delivery date and given a 2 hour time slot. Eventually we were informed the courier was five stops away, then 3, then 2, then it stopped. At 8.30 p.m. they said they had a problem with the address, despite having the correct post code.. No more heard that night. We contacted Adnams on Sunday and the package was resent. Still another saga of incompetence with Yodel (thirteen stops away to seven in about ten minutes, then they were at the door!) so at least it arrived eventually. Our conclusion - a great product but please find a different courier.
