Looking for a new way to serve our Single Malt Whisky? Mix it up this festive period by trying a Copper Julep; pour over freshly crushed ice, top with a sprig of garden mint and a slice of lemon.
You will need:
60ml Single Malt Whisky
25ml Lemon and Mint syrup (recipe below)
For the Syrup:
Lemon and Mint syrup – Mix together 2 parts sugar and 1 part boiling water, add a handful of mint leaves per 100ml and ¼ parts lemon juice. Add to pan over heat and stir. Strain out mint leaves. Cool before use.
- Add your Single Malt Whisky, Syrup and Crushed Ice to a julep tumbler and mix well.
- Garnish with a fresh lemon wheel and mint spring!
