The Adnams 10k is back for 2020

We know that for many of you the Adnams 10k run is a highlight in your calendar, and now more than ever we need something to look forward to. So, open your diaries, grab your pen, and write ADNAMS 10K on Sunday 29th November 2020*.

The Adnams 10k is just one of the many things Adnams does to raise money for good causes, in 2019 we raised £8000 for the Adnams Community Trust. We will once again be raising money for the ACT which celebrates it’s 30th anniversary this year and supports good causes in a 25-mile radius of Southwold.

In 2009 we had this little idea to organise a 10k as part of the Prince’s Trust Million Makers Challenge, fast forward to now and we’ve just set the date for our 12th run. It’s hard to believe that in the early days we had to actively encourage runners to enter, now we see thousands vying for those coveted places when registration opens.

We’re looking forward to welcoming all the fun runners, clubs runners, first time 10k runners, spectators, volunteers and those ‘just here for the beer afterwards’ to Southwold for the bracing winds, puddles and an uphill finish.

*We will of course adhere to government guidelines regarding events, but we are really hoping some normality will have returned to life by November. Watch this space!
