Alceo means Perseus, who was one of the three great heroes of Greek mythology before the days of Hercules. Alceo is produced from Tempranillo grapes grown on a mixture of clay and sand, with a high concentration of limestone. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeast. Alceo is aged for three to four months in American and French oak.
