Light, refreshing and full of flavour

I expected this to taste similar to the Alt bier I’d had during visits to Northern Germany but it was even better. Lovely refreshing taste with slightly lasting bitter notes. I’m not surprised it claims to be Germany’s most popular black beer and I’ll certainly be sampling more.

Unusual. "BLACK LAGER" To some people

This to the uneducated is sometimes treated with "I haven't tried so I don't like it" syndrome.

If like myself enjoy quality drink that is more adult than the usual then this is a beer that is full tasting and well rounded
