Modern and delicate

We rarely associate the region of Rioja with rosé, but many wineries are now experimenting with a richer stye of rosé made from the classic varieties of Rioja - grenache & tempranillo. This is a lighter, modern style of rosé made using 100% grenache using only stainless steel tanks, with just a few short hours in contact with the grape skins to get that wonderful deep strawberry pink in colour with aromas that jump out and excite. It has characterful strawberry, red cherry and pomegranate flavours with a soft and refreshing finish.

A good find

We've now tried all 3 of these wines: the white is a little sharp, and I'm reviewing the red separately. This rose is slightly off-dry, a you might expect, but has nice body nd is enjoyable both with food and by itself. I'd buy it again
