You will learn about how to craft a great tasting gin, from balancing flavours and aromas, to understanding the influence of the distillation process. We will help you develop your own recipe from a selection of botanicals, and you will go on to distil, fill and name your personal bottle.

 

When designing Copper House Dry Gin, our Head Distiller, John McCarthy tried around 26 variations before settling on the recipe. However, he knew almost instinctively which one would be picked. One of his first distillations stood out and it was crafted on a similar still to the ones used in Make Your Own Gin. And don’t forget, if your gin is an obvious hit like Copper House, our distillers can remake it for you when you run out.
