Never forgotten

In so many ways we owe so much to those who gave so much for us - the celebrations for VE Day were a timely reminder of this and although the celebrations we had planned had to be postponed, The Union Jack was again hoisted proudly above our flagship hotel The Swan in Southwold by Nick Attfield our Director of Properties and the bell was rung at 3pm to toast ‘those who gave everything, we thank them' – many of our pubs did this too even though they are currently closed.â
