Deliciously refreshing

To celebrate Father's Day we thought we would share three delicious whisky cocktails over the next three weeks, all recommended by our Head Distiller John. Perfect to enjoy with Dad (social distanced of course!) we are starting with a Single Malt Whisky Mint Julep. You will need:

65ml Adnams Single Malt Whisky

Enough crushed ice to fill your glass

5 fresh mint leaves

12.5ml of sugar syrup (half a standard shot) or a sugar cube

A julep glass or any Adnams glass!

A long stirring spoon

A muddler or something to crush your mint and sugar together with.


  1. Place your mint leaves and sugar syrup into your glass.
  2. Muddle well to combine the sugar with the oil and aromas of the mint. (Be careful not to crush your mint into small pieces)
  3. Add your 65ml of Adnams Single Malt Whisky.
  4. Fill the glass with crushed ice and stir well until the glass becomes frosty.
  5. Garnish with a mint sprig.
  6. Enjoy!
