SarahGroves Seal pup 2012It’s seal pup season!

Blakeney Point, owned by the National Trust, is home to England’s largest grey seal colony. Grey seals have their young from November through to January, and are a delight to see. Common seals are found at Blakeney Point too, although this species bear their pups in the summer. There are several companies offering trips to see the seals during pupping season: Beans Boats (from Blakeney or Morston Quays), Bishops Boats (from Blakeney or Morston Quays), and Temple Seal Trips (from Morston Quay). If you’d prefer, you can walk out to the colony, but please respect fence lines and any advice given by the National Trust to avoid disturbing the seals.

Christmas at The White Horse

Our bedrooms will be closed from Christmas Eve morning and will be open again for stays from Boxing Day. However, we will be open for food and drinks over the Christmas period, including a delicious Christmas Day Lunch (which must be booked in advance).
