Vibrant & young Tempranillo with not even a hint of oak, deep, fleshy cherry and strawberry scented with hints of violets and spice. Juicy and comforting, the grapes for this Rioja were handpicked at the end of September, at optimum ripeness to capture the grape at its best, the wine is smooth and fresh on the pallet with a long finish, the perfect accompaniment to grilled meats or rich, rustic pasta dishes.

If you don't mind

...your Rioja 'joven' this is a nice buy. Good depth, still juicy, and adaptable to different foods. It could probably be served lightly chilled too.
