Sole Star 0.5%

Sole Star is named after the brightest star in the sky (the sun) which rises first over the East Coast and the Adnams Sole Bay Brewery each morning. We’ve achieved a tasty 0.5% abv by brewing this beer with malts that are relatively low in starch, by using less yeast, and by fermenting at a cool temperature.

Surprise favourite

This beer redefined low alcohol for me. I was looking for a regular drink, replacing my mid week or a beer to mix in with my session choice. Perfect. Seemed to hold its head well and looks the part. Cheer’s Adnams

Great beer with no headache!

It’s a lovely glass of beer to have on a summer or winters day.

The even better thing is that you can have quite a few without a hangover.!

That rare thing - a low alcohol ale that tastes like ale

Quite easy to find no and low alcohol lagers and ciders but ale? Usually thin and bland. This is not. Happy to buy direct from the brewers at very reasonable cost.

Certainly the best low alcohol beer I have found

It's very good, the best low alcohol I have tasted. Good flavours and body. It's a shame that it is not marketed more prominately, it took a while to find it and the label is not very exciting. I like it much better than the Ghost Ship which to me seems to me to be too citrus.
