Tastes like real beer.
Because it is.
You’ll be hard-pressed to tell Ghost Ship 0.5% from the original beer. And that’s because it is.
We make our low alcohol beer by brewing in exactly the same way, then removing the alcohol afterwards - using the unique blend of East Anglian malt and Citra hops that give it that famously bold and refreshing taste. Also available at all major supermarket chains.

Local
150 years
in the making.
Since 1872, a lot has changed at Adnams. But a lot has stayed the same. While we blend traditional craft with pioneering techniques and new technology, we’re proud to be one of the last remaining independent heritage brewers.
Tastes as good as
the place looks.
Adnams Ghost Ship 0.5% tastes like great beer because it is. Made to exactly the same recipe as Ghost Ship 4.5%, it has an identical, award-winning citrus flavour - judged Gold by the World Beer Awards the year after we first brewed it.
The place is beautiful.
We want to keep it
that way.
Fifteen years ago, we brewed the UK’s first carbon-neutral beer. Since then, we’ve adapted the supply chains we manage, the energy we use and the waste we generate, so that our products actively benefit society and the environment. Because the only impact we want Ghost Ship 0.5% to have is on your tastebuds.
Made locally.
Loved everywhere.
Ghost Ship 0.5% is the best-selling low alcohol ale in the East of England. And for good reason.
100% of the barley in Ghost Ship 0.5% is locally grown, much of it on the beautiful Holkham estate in North Norfolk. Which means the beer tastes better, and we can support local producers. It’s also the best-selling low alcohol ale in pubs nationwide. So not so much a local secret any more.
