Sole Star 0.5%

Sole Star is named after the brightest star in the sky (the sun) which rises first over the East Coast and the Adnams Sole Bay Brewery each morning. We’ve achieved a tasty 0.5% abv by brewing this beer with malts that are relatively low in starch, by using less yeast, and by fermenting at a cool temperature.

This great tasting, low abv, light amber ale is a delicious alternative when preference dictates less alcohol. Still brimming with flavour, thanks to the selection of malts and hops, you will find a beer with good depth and body, moreish caramelised toffee notes, and a palate cleansing bitterness on the finish.

Certainly the best low alcohol beer I have found

It's very good, the best low alcohol I have tasted. Good flavours and body. It's a shame that it is not marketed more prominately, it took a while to find it and the label is not very exciting. I like it much better than the Ghost Ship which to me seems to me to be too citrus.

All the taste of a craft IPA without the alcohol

Great if watching your weight

Couldn't believe a 66 calorie beer could taste so good - only seen it in qd's and thought I'd give it a bash as watching calories and ghost ship 0.5% was my go too but this is even better - just not widely available so far

Oh and good for driving to after a couple 9f bottles
