Sample Menu
The Victoria’s menu changes slightly daily, depending on what our Head Chef has bought in fresh that morning from our local suppliers. However, we do have some seasonal staples on our Winter menu:
Starters
with red onion marmalade and toasted brioche
with chorizo, preserved lemon, thyme & garlic
with hens egg, salad of capers & gherkins
with crème fraiche, lemon & fennel, soda bread
Small or Large
with coriander & mooli salad
with apple, celeriac & parmesan
with mozzarella
For Two
with chips, onion rings, tomato, mushroom, French beans,
peppercorn or béarnaise sauce
smoked chicken, ham hock terrine, smoked duck,
honey glazed ham, black pudding scotch egg, cheese scones,
pickles & chutney
dressed crab, shell on prawns, smoked salmon, potted shrimp, oysters, bread & mayonnaise
Meat
with olive mash, roasted root vegetables, pork & marjoram jus
with chips, mushroom & tomato, peppercorn or béarnaise sauce
with red cabbage, shallot sauce
with caraway cabbage, potato dauphinoise, artichoke, red wine jus
with chips, cheese & bacon
with seasonal vegetables, lamb consommé
with potatoes, ratatouille, salsa verde
