The Crown refurbishment is complete!

The Crown Hotel, Southwold The refurbishment of 10 of the 14 bedrooms at The Crown Hotel is complete, and we’re incredibly pleased with the results.

The bedrooms are open for guests this evening, so we whizzed around the rooms earlier to take photos. We’d love to know what you think of the new-look rooms designed by Melissa Billen from MBD Interiors, Orford.

Just what was needed – the rooms look great. We have been visiting The Crown, and enjoying the food, for over 20 years; and after staying for two nights over Christmas 2011 we were pleased to hear of the forthcoming refurbishment. Looking forward to our next visit.

It might be hard to decide which is best, the rooms or the food. Last time it was the food. We’ll just have to have to book another stay. Guess they’ll both win out next time round! Great.
