About Fritton House
Fritton House is a restaurant with rooms in the heart of Fritton Country Park on the Somerleyton Estate. Surrounded by woodland and countryside and with a huge lake it is a peaceful and idyllic location for a wedding or party. Adjacent to the main house is a converted barn which is licensed for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships and there is also space for marquees to accommodate larger wedding parties. There are still a limited number of dates available for weddings in 2010.
The restaurant offers fresh, seasonal produce – often locally sourced from the estate itself – and Head Chef Lee Knights (trained at the Crown in Southwold as well as previously working as a fisherman) is passionate about local produce.
Since July 2009 Fritton House has managed by the Adnams Hotels team who bring years of experience from The Swan and The Crown in Southwold to Fritton. For all weddings and events and for whatever budget, Fritton provides the services of a Wedding Planner at no additional cost, helping to make sure that your day goes as smoothly as possible.
