Southwold in pictures – winter
As I write, I am receiving tweets from people who are snowed in, or just about to be snowed in. Here in Southwold, we often miss the best (or worse, depending on your view) of the weather, as our climate is ameliorated by the sea. So, we’re currently snow free – with just a few icy patches to catch out the unwary.

The photo below was taken a few days prior to the Southwold shots – I think the rainbow-effect and the luminous cloud is a ‘sun dog’ – ice crystals form a spectrum of colours.
