The members are enjoying it and looking forward to the German Wheat Beer this month... should go on this week!

The Abbey went down very well, so much that we managed to order a second one before the end of November! And the Abbey Ale certainly does not disappoint.
What i really liked about this beer was the wonderful mixture of flavours,
Spice,Honey,Fruit and Malt with a hint of dryness in the finish.
And i was surprised how easy drinking it was for a 5% beer.
Keep up the good work.

I have to admit i am really enjoying trying these Adnams world beers.<br

I'm not a connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination but i know what i like and this really did hit the spot. A pat on the back for Adnams. Looking forward to December with great anticipation!

Brilliant Ale – enjoyed every minute of it. It's a classic -- THE classic Belgian pale ale -- brewed in Antwerp.

Sorry to be picky, but De Koninck isn’t an Abbey Ale. Didn't like the fruit beers though so keep to what is "proper" beer! Still think to date that Broadside is your best - but once I try this Abbey beer I might be dissuaded!

Brilliant – can’t wait to try it having lived in Belgium for 5 years and having got through about 165 of their 260+ beers. As with most styles of beer there is a wide range of flavours within it, so what we are really brewing is our interpretation of each style.
I'm not usually a fan of pigeonholing beers into styles but I think it does help to give a guide to what flavours we are aiming for.
Hope you enjoy them

Thanks for the encouragement.<br
