Adnams Bitter – Champion Beer of East Anglia 2007
Competition Co-ordinator David Sherman said “the judges were impressed by the beer’s vivid, hoppy character, and its balance of bitterness and juicy malt character. Products such as this demonstrate that session bitters can be complex and interesting without losing their drinkability.”
A cross section of styles and breweries were listed amongst the winners, which included London Porter from Hertfordshire brewery Red Squirrel.
